I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based treatment approach to support the processing of traumatic or distressing experiences. EMDR can help reduce emotional reactivity and support nervous system regulation when past experiences continue to impact present functioning. EMDR is integrated thoughtfully within a broader relational and systemic framework.
Consultative support is appropriate when a situation requires clarity, structure, and thoughtful guidance.
Consultation is not psychotherapy. It includes navigating complex dynamics, periods of transition, high stakes decisions where systems and patterns are understood but difficult to to shift in practice. Consultation also includes curating and assisting with securing and accessing community, social, familial, or individual support specific to the situation at hand.
The focus is on helping community organizations, professionals, individuals, and families step back assess situations more clearly and move forward with greater direction and guidance.
